The 180 cm Blessed Mary Statue is a donation of a institution based in Germany.

Ein Unternehmen aus Deutschland beauftragt das Atelier-Nicholas in Irland,eine Marienstatue-180cm-zu errichten,welche an die Opfer des Flugzeugabsturzes in den Alpen erinnern soll.

II.  ..wir sprachen ueber Kunst..sie sass auf der eisernen Grabplatte.Eine Hand beruehrte das Doppelkreuz....

..es ist der Unterschied:Kunst ist der Ausdruck fuer etwas,was sich in seiner Gesamtheit nicht ausdruecken laesst....

..der Meinung bin ich auch,erwiederte sie...keine Einladung etwas zu gestalten-Abstand-Distanz-Denken..

Er: ..bemerkst du es wenn du die Namen liest?...

...ja,irgendwie neige ich mein Haupt um alles zu entziffern!

...so ist es,das war der Sinn.

..es war in der Universitaets Klinik..

...neben meinem Zimmer warteten Familienmitglieder eines sterbenden Menschen auf dessen Erloesung...

..es waren keine Sitzgelegenheiten mehr vorhanden-eine junge Frau kam zu mir und fragte nach einem Stuhl..

..Sorry aber sie koennen sich ruhig ans Fussende meines Bettes setzen....

...was sie auch tat..

..sie weinte...

..in ihrer Hand-ein besticktes Taschentuch...

..schon nach einer Weile kam ein aelterer Herr zu ihr,nahm ihre Hand und sie gingen..

..ich wusste das der Tod unwiderruflich KOMM  gesagt hatte....

..was sie mir dann auch bestaetigte..

..sie sagte DANKE und verliess den Raum....

..ich dachte noch:Wer einen Fluss ueberquert -muss die eine Seite verlassen....

Spaeter bemerkte ich ihr kleines besticktes Taschentuch..

..doch da ich sie nicht kannte,noch ihren Namen jemals erfahren wuerde gab ich es einer Person welche den Leichnahm herrichteten....

..dort legte man das kleine Tuch hinzu und ganz gewiss war die junge Frau gluecklich darueber das sie einen lieben Menschen nicht hat allein gelassen in dem Augenblick als der Herrgott ihn zu sich rief.....

...Nicholas ich wollte diese Worte noch einmal aus deinem Munde hoeren,sagte sie und

schaute in die Wolken......

  VI  Mein Freund Captain John J BYRNE hat seinen letzten Flug angetreten,leider war es ihm nicht vergoennt seine Uniformjacke,welche er mir seinerzeit ueberliess,standesgemaess zu tragen....

The irish actress Maureen O'Hara-died last Saturday 24.10.2015 -aged 95...

she will be laid to rest in the US Arlington National Cemetery beside her husband.

She is wellknown by the movie THE QUIET MAN...
